Aggregate without Collapsing Rows

Window functions are a category of functions used with an OVER clause, such as ROW_NUMBER and SUM. They add ranks, per-group calculations, and running totals while retaining every source row. PARTITION BY and ORDER BY inside OVER define the calculation's scope and order.
